Fall Essentials: Wide Legged Pants

Ladies, I thought the pencil skirt and blouse was difficult, but that was peaches and cream compared to pants. To be totally honest, I couldn't find a single pair of actual vintage pants that I liked. But I did find some vintage reproduction pants, so lets get on with it, shall we?


Black pants with buttons


Tailored Sailor Trousers

Here were my two favorite finds at Anthropologie. I like that they are dark in color-definitely a staple. I also like the button detail on both pairs. They are not ultra high waisted, but I still think they give off enough of a retro vibe to get away with it.


Soft Grey Trousers

So I am not sure what the story is on the above pants. I found them under 'handmade' on Etsy, and they only seem to be available in a size medium. However, I am guessing the designer did a collection and sewed a few pairs herself. I wonder if she might be willing to sew another pair in whatever size you are. If you love these pants, I would shoot her off an email and ask.


Maisie Slacks

Now we have moved on to the world of reproduction pants. I adore these pants except for one thing; the color. Now to be clear, I like the color, just not as an 'essential'. I wonder if they would be willing to make it in black or grey?


Big Daddy Pants

These are by Violated- a new brand by the designer of Bettie Page Clothing. I think they are fine, but I am not an olive kind of girl. Now, if they were in grey or navy- I would be much more excited.


.Masterpiece Jumper

Technically this isn't a pair of pants- it is a jumpsuit. But I love it and think it is so chic. I am hoping they have this at my local Anthro so I can try it on. If it looks good, it is mine! I think it could look really amazing with the black blouse from Able Grable underneath.

So kittens, I am sorry to disappoint you, but that is all I could find! I am guessing more will come out as the season progresses. If I find anything I like in the future, I will be sure to report back. In the meanwhile, if any of you know of the perfect pair of wide legged pants, please let me know
