You know those people who are all into music- they always know the best bands years before anyone else and then when the artist breaks they get all annoyed because they 'knew the band before the band sold out'? Well I am not that person. I am the annoying person who hears a song long after all the cool people have found it- right when it becomes popular. I am the person who listens to the same song over and over and over. I am the person who listens to pop indie, top 40, rap, dance, big band, cocktail, and The Smiths, but NEVER country.
Why am I telling you this? Because I have become freakishly obsessed with this song:
It is the opening song for '500 Days Of Summer' and when I heard it I was instantly smitten. Apparently the artist, Regina Spektor has been on the 'anti folk' circuit forever, but I had never heard of her. I did some research on her songs and it turns out I had head her newest single and liked it, but not enough to find out about her. But this song above is the most amazing song ever. So listen to it and let me know what you think. Have you heard of Regina, and if so, do you like her? Am I just the biggest looser for not knowing who she was?
