Caesar Salad Sandwich
Serves 2-3
Time: 30 minutes or less
1 bag of fake chicken strips
1/4 cup oil
2 cloves garlic chopped
1 tsp Worcestire Sauce
pinch of red pepper flakes
pinch of dried oregano
2-3 rolls split in half
3-4Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 head of romaine lettuce
shredded Parmesan cheese
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
Mix the oil, Worcester Sauce, garlic, red pepper and dried oregano. Pour half over the fake chicken strips and let sit.
Spread some of the oil mixture over the cut rolls
Add the lemon juice to the remainder of the marinade to make the dressing for the lettuce.
Chop the lettuce and put it in a bowl for later.
Once the oven comes to temperature, spread the fake chicken out on a cookie sheet and bake until toasted, about 15 minutes. I flipped mine about halfway through so both sides got toasty.
Once 'chicken' is done, switch oven to broil and toast the bread. Make sure not to burn it!
Add the dressing and Parmesan cheese to to the lettuce.
Now put the 'chicken' on the roll, top with the lettuce and eat!
