Interesting Color Combo: Kelly Green, Sage, and Purple

I wanted to put an outfit together that wasn't totally comprised of vintage garments. So I started with a sweater from J.Crew in a shade of 'sage'.

Then I decided to kick things up a notch so I added a bright kelly green skirt. Now, I can see your faces, so just bare with me:

Ah, there it is. The purse that inspired this post. Isn't it a beauty! Now do you see how I got the colors for the sweater and skirt?

Because the handbag has purple in it, I decided to add it in the jewelry with these earrings:

Then, to tone things down a smidge, I added these wooden bangles. I like that they are wood like the purse. I also think they help tone down the green of the skirt.

Finally the shoes. Are those amazing or what?

T-Strap Heels

When it comes down to it, the only 'crazy' thing in this outfit is the skirt, which you could easily substitute for brown or winter white. I also think you could loose the brooch and bangles and add a really cool necklace to this sweater. So what do you kittens think? Cute or crazy?
