Spotlight On: Vintage Camp Fashion

Ok, this might be a stretch on the 'camp' theme, but when I saw this dress:

I was inspired to find a dress just like it because I thought it was so amazing. Doesn't it look like little camp cabins in the woods? Unfortunately I didn't find anything similar. But I did find a few interesting pieces that follow in the same vein as the dress above.

Lets start with this one. I like this dress because it has the flowers and branches on the bodice and then they fade out on the top of the skirt. I also like the little cap sleeves.

This skirt has a fun acorn and leaf pattern. I like it because it looks sort of vintage Hawaiian which is one of my favorite motifs.

This is an exquisite dress and I am seriously considering purchasing it myself. So please, put me out of my misery and buy it so I don't have to! I think the fabric is glorious and the detail at the neck is perfection. I even love the gold shoes with it!

Now we are getting a little bit closer to the original dress. Even if you don't like this dress, please click on the link because the seller has the original catalogue with the illustration of the dress! That is pretty remarkable.

This dress is the closest to the original, however as you can see it doesn't even compare. Sure the shape is the same, and it has the detail at the top of the bodice and at the hem, but the condition isn't nearly as good and there is no matching belt. But I still think it is a beautiful dress.

So there you have my 'camp' dress round-up. Do you have any favorites? If so, which one and what shoes would you wear with it?
