Chic Reads: Cafe Society

If you looking for a book that chronicles those who used to be en vogue, I highly suggest Cafe Society: Socialites, Patrons, and Artists 1920-1960.  It's a fascinating primer on the heyday of international high society and their world.  The book includes includes a myriad of chapters that include aristocrats, wealthy Americans, socialites, chic places, interior designers, courtiers and jewelers, fashion editors and models, photographers, artists, ballet dancers, musicians, and writers.   Some of the people profiled are The Duke and Duchess of Windsor, Marie-Laure de Noailles, Daisy Fellowes, Lady Cunard, Alexis de Rede, Porfirio Rubirosa, Lady Mendl, Elsa Schiaparelli, Balenciaga, Diana Vreeland, Horst, Alexandre Serebriakoff, Cole Porter, and Noel Coward. The best part has to be the pages reproduced from the scrapbooks of Baron de Cabrol that illustrate much of the book.  The collages made up of artwork and photographs are filled with images of a bygone era made up of over the top balls and holidays in the South of France.  As his wife Baronne de Cabrol was quoted, "We really were very lucky," she said with a hint of nostalgia. "Life just isn't like that any more." Ain't that the truth!

He has fans all over the world, and he has also gained notable success for his song writing skills, showcased on the Hit songs ‘Mac Muga’ and ‘Kaka Yako’. Ali Kiba is now an all-time superstar.In 2008, he did tour in Europe with a much success . Over all, Ali Kiba's success is just getting better and better everyday. He is in a new song with The group ONE8, and American musician R. Kelly is the producer. Ali Kiba is unstoppable and untouchable. Haya wadau wenzangu, kuna bifu ndani ya Bongo flava baina ya Diamond na Tanzanite. Yasemekana kwamba Tanzanite amechukua beat na sauti ya wimbo wa "Mbagala" kwa ajili ya wimbo wake wa "Kafara". Tanzanite anadai kwamba yeye alikua anafanya majaribio and then booom kibao kikawa hewani. Um Tanzanite kibao kimefika vipi hewani kama sio wewe na watu wako kukipeleka,Isitoshe hadi video umetoa. So I love all his songs..I love "msiache kuongea", wallah binadamu wanaongea mno lakini kma Mwana na Jaydee walivyo sema" Kila mnapo ongea sifa zinaongezeka", but all in all, I chose him cuz he has done a great job creating his image as an artists to person that he is. I love all his songs, but naimbaga saana " Bado nipo nipo". Hes my number 1 artists sababu napenda anavyo rap, he has his own unique sound and he stands out which I love the most, and oooh he is cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute.Im just saying.

I just loooove these guys swagger man, what made me love them alot was cuz of their song "Dar Mpaka Moro".The video ain't too much and it ain't too little either, it meets in the middle which is okay as long as me likey, seriously who wouldn't love their rhyme?, I know I do aloot.I could watch Dar mpaka Moro over and over and over and oooover again and do my little dance to it.

Nakumbuka enzi za "Cinderella", and "Nakshi Nakshi", dah i use to love watchin "Nakshi mrembo" when he was doin that dance yummy. He is a good artists but maybe a little change on sound would make it better, all his songs sounds the same, but i still heart him.
