Cocteau's Chic Abode

I don't really need another reason to visit Paris again but I've found one anyway. Jean Cocteau's home at Milly-la-Forêt is now open to the public for tours. Cocteau lived in the home, an hour outside Paris, from 1947 until his death in 1963. Pierre Bergé acquired the property in 2002 and spearheaded the renovation of the home and gardens which will also allow visitors to view artwork and films. Cocteau once said, "Art produces ugly things which frequently become more beautiful with time." I don't think his house was ever ugly, but it certainly has become more beautiful with time!
