Congratulations to Alexandria Mills who was crowned Miss World 2010. The American beauty who is only 18 years old will succeed Kaiane Aldorino born in Gibraltar and who held the Miss World 2009 title.Alexandria Mills had the world at her feet yesterday despite being a long way from home.The 18-year-old Miss USA representative took the Miss World title at a contest in southern China last night.Runner-up in the global beauty pageant, which attracted entries from more than 100 countries was Emmas Wareus,of Botswana. Who is that masked man?

These photos are not from a Halloween party.  They are from Truman Capote's infamous Black and White Ball at the Plaza Hotel in 1966.  I'd much rather look at these masked revelers than people dressed up as Snooki and The Situation.  Those were the days. Sigh.
