 just saw a twitpic of Kim Kardashian with her Fiance Kris Humphries, on their trip to Monaco, and she was wearing a really gorgeous dress that i absolutely fell in love with <3..

I researched and found out that the dress that she was wearing is a Haute Hippie Chffon Matte Jersey Belted Column Gown, and the color was nude, and it looks like this:

Hey dolls..

Today, i will show you a few measures that you can consider whn taking care of your skin, because i honesly believe thatthe skin brings out the true beautiful you!! .. If you have a beautiful skin, it would make your make up seem cleaner.. I'm not saying that there is a certan criteria for a perfect skin, what i mean is that being healthy and taking good care of your skin, will brin out the best !!

I personally cannot take bad skin, i hate it when i have skin that does not look healthy, with red spots and darker areas that are not the same color as the rest of my face. I recently have been facig a few problems with my skin, and i am currently working on returning it to it's previous state when it looked much better.

I have a few steps that really make a difference when it comes to your skin, and a few tips that i read online :] ..

1) The first thing that most girls get wrong is the exfoliating of the skin. There are daily exfoliators that are soter to the skin, however, most exfoliating products are supposed to be used only once a week. I personally use an exfoliator once in a week, and it would be better to set one certain day of the week to exfoliate your skin, I chose Friday, because to me that's the end of the week, to most of you its probably Sunday :) .. It's good, so you can start the next week with a fresh face. The key is to not exfoliate too much, otherwise you will get a flaky dry skin.

2) Treat your dark circles or parts of the face, don't just leave them to fade away alone. Usage of suncream prevents them, however, if you already have a few, dab some lemon juice to brighten them up and bring back your original skin color.



3) I personally think that getting enough sleep is absolutely vital to your skin care routine. GET AS MUCH SLEEP AS POSSIBLE. As an IB student, i find it really hardto get enough sleep, i always tend to sleep late and wake up really early to study, especially now in Examination days. Just use your sleep hours to get healthy looking skin!!

4) If you are a smoker, get rid of the ciggarette, and start your healthy way into a gorgeous skin!! Smoking is really bad for the skin, and will never make it look clean and health, so i suggest you quit smoking (if you do smoke) if you are willing to get a good looking skin.

5) Don't drink too much. Its as simple as that. I personally never drank before,  and never will, as it is against my religion. It is actually good for me because it keep my skin looking healthier :). I also think that even if i had no religion, i still wouldnt drink :) .. Afterall, ever body is free to do whatever he/she wants, but just dont over do it ..

6) Don't use dirty make up brushes. I love to keep the brushed that i use as clean as possible. I hate it when my sisters use the brushes and never clean them, it is just so disgusting. If you look at professional make up artists, they always make sure that the brushes that they use are super clean. Just grab a brushes cleanser from sephora, they're really good.

7) Don't forget to wash your face everyday before sleeping, it really makes a huge difference. You shouldnt also sleep with any make up!! I always tell salsabil, my sister, about how bad it is to sleep with your make up. Wash your face, then moisturize it a bit before going to bed :) you will wake up with fab, soft skin the following morning.

8) Do not abuse your eyes!!! The skin around your eyes is the thinnest skin in the entire body, and treating it like a baby is the best solution. I personally suffer from dark circles around my eye, thats why i seek concealers, however, i do wish that i don't have to use concealer at this early age. Don't rub your eyes!! it causesdark circles, as they are really sensitive.

9) Make sure that you do not pop zits if you get them, leave them to dissapear alone. You can speed up the process by wasing your face with deep cleanser, i use a cleanser from Clarins, that im loving so much <3 .. Just make sure that you dont pop them, because if they do they will leave a mark that will take soooooooooooo long to go !so its better to wait a few days than years!!

10) Finally, don't be too harsh on your skin with make up. Sometimes, you can skip the foundationg and just go bare!! you dont have to overload your face with make up in order to become beautiful. I personally only use many products on special occasion, and i hate too much make up on the skin.. It makes the face look cakey ;p if you get what i mean..

Balsam Trend: Scarves & Cardigans!!

How're you all doing?

I promised to do more of 'outfits by balsam' posts, so here i am!!! I have two outfits styled by me & my sister salsabil today :] ..

The first one is basically showing the power of colored scarves and how it is able to transfer a normal outfit into a whole brand new level, take a look for yourself:

The outfit above consists of just normal leggings and a basic white shirt (which i think is a must have for all girls). The accessories took this outfit into a whole new level. The first accessory that me and salsabil added into the outfit was the colored scarf, and i remember previously blogging about how important the scarves are. The second piece is the bag, which is one of my favorite bags at the moment, and is an HR purse that i got not so long ago.

The second outfit is matched by me and Salsabil again, and its just a basic 'going home shopping' outfit.. I wore it when i went to a close shopping market with my mum! I just paired a cardigan with a nvy and white printed tank top, and just matched it with a dark blue skinny jeans that I am so in love with right now!!

The cardigan is from zara and the bag is from Clairs (I think) if not clais, then its from new look  :)... but i strongly believe its a clairs bag! which is weird because i rarely buy puses and bags from clairs

Modern, Easy and sexy make up looks that I love!

You all probably know by now that I am a major fan of Make up, and i love trying out different make up looks, either natural or a really mokey eye!

Today, i got you a few make up ideas that I love so much, that will help you with your everyday make up look, as they are speedy, yet sexy and will look beautiful..

Let's start!

Stay Natural!

There is absolutely nothing better than being able to go out with not much make up!! I love natural make up looks, such as neutral brown shadows, and natural moisturized lips! and this sprin/summer, this will be extremely trendy! so try to go less with your make up! & remember, Less is more!

Make yourself Glow!

You might have realized that all Hollywood fashionistas are walking the red carpet with confidene, that may have been produced due to the glowy skin!!

Dewy skin is the thing for summer and spring, so make sure you use a highlighter to make your skin apear glowyer (lol).

Orange!

Orange lips are deffinetly trendy this spring/summer. Make sure you fetch yourself a bright color for your lips, and i strongly recommend orange/red color, as it is the real deal right now!

It is pretty hard to get the perfect shade that goes with your skin, hair and eye colors, but the key is to mix and match different colors in order to get what you're looking for! Be you're own professional make up artist :)

Natural Cheeks

& here i dont mean your natural cheeks (i.e non plastic surgery cheeks, lol). What i mean here is the choice of taking a natural blush color, instead of taking a really bold blush color. I would recommend NARS Orgasm blush, or go forthe Bobbi Brown Pot rouge for lips and cheeks! i would recommend the one in Pink Truffle.

Light Pink Lips

This is my all time favorite lip color, it is soo natural, but does have a touch of pink to it :). It is so close to a nude shade, but still not quite there.. I just love it, and really seems to go with alot of make up looks and eye shadows.. It is also th best friend of a smokey eye!

Smoky Eyeliner

Just a simple eye liner could create a whole make up look & is great for creating a simple smokey eye!! I would strongly recommend you find a suitable pencil liner that you are comfortable with, ( i personally prefere Dior when it comes to liners) and try out different smokey eyes with it, either by smudgng it or running a shadow over it :)

Warm Skin

Warm skin is absolutely a neccessity right now, skin is an important factor that effects your overall make up look! If you dont have good skin, your make up will probbly not look good. I suggest you take good care of your skin by eating healthly, drinking lots and lots of water, especially now in the summer, and work out!! I personally have alot of skin breakdowns, and find it extremely hard to stick to a healthy diet and all that. I also dont have much time to work out either, so that might result in my skin looking unperfect ;p But in the end, i try my best and clean it and rense it with water at least 5 times a day :)..

Having a warm skin means you need to use a bronzer, to make it look warmer. I have a pale skin that really irritates me in the morning (I do not have a problem with being pale, but my skin really looks pale + flaky, which is the reason why it irritated me). I end up using bronzer most of the time, and it really does its job. Try the smashbox bronzer, its perfect, and does not have shimmer to it, which makes it more natural.

Winged Liner

Living in the arabian gulf makes it norml for me to be in love with winged out liner, I just dont like going crazy with it when i have too much color in my eyes though! which is not a typical arabic thing ;p

Anyways, I am a huge fan of vintage make up, and loooovvve winged liners, either with red lips, or nude lips, or even pink!

What i love the most about the winged liner is that you dont have to concentrate alot on the other parts of your face if you have a winged liner on your eyes, because it will be the thing that grabs attention :)

Balsam Trend: Prints, Maxi Dress & Denim jacket!

The image above is an image of me, wearing the outfit that i chose for today!! ..

I have never done this kind of post before, but thught it would be a good idea to start! anyways,

I Love Maxi dresses, and in the above photgraph, you can see that I paired one of my printed (floral) maxi dresses with a denim jacket that I had for soooo long. I just love how modern trends could be mixed with older trends like the denim jacket <3 .. especilly now in spring!!

The maxi dress is like the kind of spring and summer <3 they totally make sense for this season, which is why i chose this outft today :] .. I also took the denim jacked to add a little bit of a tough look (as you can see the jacket that i am wearing is sort of bleached, and rough looking). It is always good to go back to older things that you have, and mix and match them with new things that you go, in order to create a whole new look.

I did not add any accessories to this look, because the print in the dress is already too much, so accessoies would be over!!

New Layout & A Few Changes

I have been going through the process of thinking of changing the layout of my blog for so long now, and i finally decided to go for a summer layout which features something to do with summer, ;p and what's better than having really bright colors and flip flops? or shoes? ..

Please let me know about what you think of the layout ..

I have also worked on rearranging the things on my blog, such as the categories and all that! I have also added a whole section or My long time inspiratio : "Marilyn Monroe" in which i will add different quotes of hers underneath her picture ;)
