I Can't get Kim Kardashian's Jam out of my head!

So one of my friends is currently obsessed with the Kardashians!!! and she got Kim K's song into my head and now i cannot get it out!!! I love how dancy and energetic the song is, and is deffo a party material ;)

T.I. Is an Inspiration!

I know most of you would never guess that i am a huge fan of rap, and my favorite rapper of all time is Clifford Harris, or more commonly known as T.I or T.I.P ..


I just admire his lyrics, alot of his lyrics inspired me alot, and one of the songs that he rapped that i'm currently obsessed with is ''Get back up" which is a song that he did with Chris Brown. I just wanted to share this thing with you because the meaning behind it is extremely strong.

The song basically tells all of you out there to stand up if you fall, no body is perfect and everbody will evetually go through hell, but you have to "wipe the dirt of your jersey'' and ''get back up'' to where you were before you fall.

Listen to the song, and + TI & Chris are not hard to look at so that's another good thing ;)



Olympia

I haven't added any new music to my iPod in a while but I think I will definitely be buying Olympia by Bryan Ferry today.  If there is one musician who is the epitome of chic, it's Bryan Ferry.  Almost all of the albums for his group Roxy Music had gorgeous women on the cover, most of whom he dated, and he continues the tradition on this solo album, minus the dating part.  Kate Moss was photographed by Adam Whitehead but Mr. Ferry helped style her and even personally chose the jewels.  It is an homage to Manet's Olympia and you can watch the behind the scenes video on Bryan Ferry's website.  There is also a great interview with him in the November issue of UK Harper's Bazaar which mentions that Tom Ford called Bryan Ferry "the ultimate style icon."  I will also have to say that Olympia looks pretty iconic too.

Yes, this song is one of my favorite in terms of lyrics, it's so empowering!!  I personaly wasnt a fan of John Lennon until about two years ago, when i met a friend (Malaak) that made me love the beatles, and actually make me listen to some of their songs, although i dont really get obsessed with them!! But still, they were so peaceful <3

My Favorite Songs by Jesse McCartney!

As i stated once eariler in one of my earlier posts, i am a huge fan of the boy band Dream Street, and i still listen to their music although the band has already disapeared, but i find it really enjoyable to listen to their music =), it bring back old memories.

Jesse McCartney was a member of Dream Street, and i'm still a fan of him until now, i think his music is really good :) ..

The boy band 'Dream Street' which features the well known singer Jesse McCartney when he was just a little child.

I, believe it or not, still listen to their songs, and i still enjoy singing along with the track and dance along with the beat.

Triple Threat Miles Fisher

Dark haired preppy boys are my kryptonite. But in the case of Miles Fisher, he's as easy on the ears as he is the eyes. Not content with acting alone, he's also releasing a album of melodious music. Did I also mention he's also Harvard educated? Why should all rock stars be grungy bad boys who look like they need a long hot shower. If more musicians went to Harvard like Miles Fisher and Chester French, maybe they wouldn't end up loosing all their money or appearing on cheesy reality shows on VH1. Note to Pharrell Williams, you better scoop up this pretty prepster before someone else beats you to it. He looks and sounds like the next big triple threat. Which is why I may have to talk to my friend Jessica's husband about putting him in his next movie. I also definitely see a Ralph Lauren modeling contract in his future. I'm off now to discuss my agent commission with Miles. The rest of you can thank me for the photos later!

I love how she samples and loops herself and creates layers of beautiful music, a one woman orchestra.

I was looking through her different clips, trying to choose one, and it was amazing to hear how different every performance is from how it sounds on the albums. while performing she creates whole new songs out of the familiar basic elements. (it was hard to choose one, take a look at this other candidate for embedding)
