Get A Perfcet Smokey Eye!

Hey Girliez ..

You're probably wonderin' how to get that perfect smokey eye in the picture above, well today i'm going to show you how to do it, well not show you, but tell you! .. I will make sure that it's easy, and very followable (is that even a word?) , anyway .. lemme tell you about the products you need, or what kinda shadows would fit perfectly for a smokey eye!! ..

I personaly love to use the YSL 5 colour smokey eye pallete, which looks exactly like this :

As you can see from the picture, it come with a small eye angled brush, and a normal eye shadow brush, with two ends, one which is pointed, and one that is rounded. These three types of brushes are pretty much enough to create a good smokey eye, you may need a blender brush to kinda get all the coloures evened out and great!..

Usualy, a smokey eye has a dark colour base of either really really black, or really dark brown. Carbon by mac would be a great start of a smokey eye, which i believe is equivelant to the black section on the YSL smokey eye pallet above. Carbon may be a bit darker.

Ok, lets get in to the how to ..!!

Before starting doing you eyeshadow, you need to make sure that your foundation is perfectly done, along with concealing any dark circles under your eyes, or any red spots on your skin. You may use a liquid foundation or a face primer as a base to prevent your powder foundation from creasing, which will save your look for much more time! ..

The Eyes!

1) Make Sure that you have applied a primer before staring, to prevent creasing, and make sure that your primer has been applied all the way to the brow bone. FY ... Eye primer by benefit is really good for this. It looks just like this :

Don't forget to even out your eye afterwards, to make sure that all of your eye has the same colour (all the way from the lid to the crease). In order to do this you can use a concealer, or any cream shadow which is very close to your skin tone. I personaly use Mac studio finish concealer :

This concealer works for everything. I'm not sure about under eye area though, coz it does not seem to last long enough, but for other purposes such as concealing red areas, or evening out your lid, it's great! ..

2) You need to grab a large fluffy eye brush such as this one :

You can use the mac 213, as it looks good enough for the job, and it is able to add the colour in wide areas, and you need that for a smokey eye. You will have to add black/dark brown (whatever you choose, usually the darkest shade of colour) into this brush and you much slowly add it into the entire of your eye lid and up to the crease, don't go any further, because you will need to blend the other colours there.

Valentines Day is, TOMORROW!!

OMG, it's already the 13th of February, Tomorrow is VALENTINES DAY!, 

Time for some valentines day outfit ideas and make up! ...

Unlike me, some of you are celebrating this valentines day with your special someone, but i will just try to enjoy tomorrow with the family, and girlfriends ;)

Firstly, i would like to wish you all a happy Valentines day, and may you all spend the day being happy with all the people you love <3 ..

Now, let's get into business....

1) No need to wear red and hearts.

Well, some girls go crazy about valentines day, and start wearing all kinda red stuff! well that is way too much, and you should also know that your bf is probably not into valentines day as much as you are!! so don't go crazy with red and hearts on your outfits.

If you are going on a casual date, maybe you should consider wearing something normal and casual like:

Or maybe, you can add a bit of red (if you're really insisting) to your nails, red nails are always a hit!

or red lips! Just like what christina aguilera does or gwen stephanie, puts on a casual look and adds red lips to it!

2) If You're Into Classics!

LBD's will always symbolize classics! If you're the type that loves dressing up a little, then don't hesitate to pick up that LBD and twist your hair up or something, to make the look more chick! ..

Red lips could be added to an LBD, or red nail polish.

3) T-shirts are not that bad!

If you are going to lounge around and watch a movie for valentines day, make yourself comfortable and wear something that you will be relaxed with. It is a special day for you afterall, so you should be feeling your best when you're with your special someone. If you special someone is a great person, they would make you feel loved no matter how you look.

4) Polka Dot dress, should be one of you options!

I spoke about how to wear polka dots, and dresses was part of the list! Well, guys LOVE polka dotted dresses, so maybe you should pick up a polka dotted dress this time.

5) It's all about short dresses.

Guys tend to also love simple short sundresses, so if your date is more casual, and more about fun, then maybe you should get a sundress, and honestly, they're avilable everywhere!! I personally love sundresses.

6) Perfect Shoes!

Eye catching shoes are essential! If you're going to dress down on your outfit, then maybe you should add colourful shoes that are eye catchy! <3 There's nothing like the Jimmy Choo cruise collection :)

7) More Dresses!

Little white dresses (or beige/nude) are perfect for valentines day, and once again i repeat, you dont really need to go crazy about red in the 14th of feb! Guys love dresses, so maybe you should wear one in this special day <3

8) Go Solid!

Guys tend to like classics, so maybe you should go solid with colours, and choose only one classy colour (like the dress shown above).

9) Jeggings or Leggings.

Black jeggings/leggings with black heels are also a hit! so again, if you have a night out date with your special man, then wear those jeggings!

10) Time for skirts!

Don't underestimate skirts, they are on the list of the outfits that guys love <3 ..

Fitted skirts with heels are a great combo!

11) Whatever!

Finally, the easiest thing to do, is to pick up whatever you feel you're best in! Guys have no problem with that ! <3

How to wear Polka Dots?!

About a week ago, i thought of this new post that i can tell you guys, that would be fashion related, but a bit different that what i normally post about.

I normally find it hard to style polka dots, but i do find it pretty fashionable when people wear polka dots, they're just way too hard for me to style. So, today, i want to show you the ways that i think polka dots should be worn! You can totally go on and style them the way you want to , i am just giving you some advice or ideas on how to wear them



As i said earlier, i find it hard to style them, but i did manage to find a few items that can be polka dotted.


Lets start with the classics, Polka Dotted Dresses.



Belts with Polka Dotted dresses are a hit! They are always trendy ;) especially for spring.

Secondly, Polka Dotted Tops can also be fashionable, if you know how to wear them.

If we look at this Etoile Isabel Marant Benett metallic silk-chiffon top (Available in net-a-porter.com), you will see how cute polka dotted tops can be:



As seen on the model, this top has been paired up with a plain black pants, which is great! polka dots would look crazy if you pair them with something with patterns or too colorful :) .. so if you are looking for a polka dotted top, whatever colour it is, you should probably wear it with something plain.

Polka dotted ruffled tops or silk tops, will look great with maybe a cardigan (if you want to cover up slightly) or a blazer. Nude pumps are also a must have if you're into polka dotte tops.

Moving on into shoes,

These heels above, will look gorgeous if you like showing off your shoes, and love making your shoes stand out! they would look amazxing for summer of spring, as they are extremely colorful :) ..

If you are going to wear something similar to the heels on top, please do not pair it up with something identical like this:

Unless you want to play dress up :P ..

 Hang on a sec, i totally forgot one more type.

Some people may not be a huge fan of polka dots, then this is when partial polka dots step in.

You probably spotted that the belt is polka dotted,

This way, you can wear polka dots, but not feel too spotty! If you get what i mean.

Your way to a healthy, great looking hair!

Wondering if you can have a healthy looking hair like Ashwariya Rai?



Well, indians are known for good hair, so its normal for her to have perfect looking hair! But, i found some great tips that can help everyone of you out there with your hair care and how to make you hair look healthier and greater!!

I personally struggle alot with my hair, because i need some more volume in it, i need it to look shinier and healthier. So i will try my hardest to follow these tips too, (some of them i already do and i will tell you what i do with my hair at the end of this post) but lets start with the more important ones:

1) Get Rid Of Split Ends.

Dead ends and split ends will prevent your hair from growing healthily. These ends should be trimmed regularly, it is good to trim them every 6 months.

2) treat Dandruff (if you have any)

Head and shoulders ads always encourage you to get rid of any dandruff that you might have. Thankfully, dandruff is not a problem for me, but it may be for some of you out there! get red of it, that should be the number one step to a better looking and healthy hair.

3) Choose a good quality brush! 

A bad quality brush will lead you to a road to bad hair, and will make your hair fall and all that, so you should fetch yourself a good quality hairbrush .

4) Brush Your Hair Before Washing

Brushing your hair before washing will loosen dead cells, which means its easier for them to be washed away when washing your hair. BUT, do not brush your hair while it is wet, because this will cause your hair to fall.

5) Never Use Hotter Than A Medium Heat When Blow- Drying

Too much heat from blow drying is a very bad step! You shouldnt go any more than medium, and after blow drying you should let your hair experience a cold breeze, this will close the cuticles – when cuticles lie flat, hair reflects the light and looks healthier and shiner.

6) So it's time for me tell you MY routine!

Well, i have been trying to get longer hair for a long time!! and i found out that the best routine is to Braid your hair before going to bed.

At first i thought that this was just a myth, but i tried it because it felt comfortable to sleep with, and my hair did get longer in a shorter time! I also used the herbal Essenses shampoo for lenghening the hair;

This shampoo gives you beautiful ends and longer hair. Mine already finished so i better go and buy another one, i now started using dove which is the one that makes your hair fall less. But i am planning on going back to herbal essenses.

Another last thing that i do, is when brushing my hair at night, before braiding it, i tend to brush it backwards, as demonstrated below:

I believe that brushing your hair like this really  helps, bcause i read somewhere (I think msn.com) that if you brush your hair this way, it tends to gain more volume because it somehow stimulates something in your scalp.

Oh, and i almost forgot, you shouldnt wash your hair too much, because it dries it out and makes it look not shiny! You should wash it and keep it clean, just not too much!!



How To Apply Bronzer! (The Perfect Way)



It's time for some bronzing!!!

Well i know bronzer is most used in the summer, but i honeslty love bronzing up all the time. I have a kind of tanned bu pale skin, that needs bronzing from time to time. So when it's cold and theres alot of breez and cold air, my skin gets so pale and dry, so bronzing becomes an essential.

Today, i will go with you step by step, on how to apply bronzer.

Well firsf of all, you guys should know that when it comes to applying bronzer, you need to find bronzer that has no shimmer whatsoever, so you should be looking for matte bronzer, such as:



Mac bronzing Powder



Smashbox Bronzer

Well, alot of girls out there apply bronzer in a wrong way, where they end up looking burnts, of way too orange!

So, how should you apply bronzer?

 1) Get the perfect Brush

Mac 150

2) Know where to apply your bronzer.

Bronzer should be applied on the top of your eye brows, which makes your forehead looks kind of smaller, and the bronz colour would look more natural, because that is where the sun normally hits.

The bronzer should also be applied underneath the cheek apples.

If you look at the way Kim kardashian aplies her bronzer, she does it underneeth her cheek apples to enhance her cheek bones and make her face seem and look thinner.

The correct technique to do the bronzer is to apply it starting from next to the ears and going back to under the apples of the cheeks :)

To end the bronzing process:

2) choose apropriate blush to finish off the bronzed up look.

You should blend in the bronzer with a blush to finish off the look. Because if you apply the blush alone, it will look too fake, and if you apply the bronzer alone, it would probably look too orange!!
