You all know her as Miss Universe Tanzania for 2007, and she went on to compete as Miss Universe,where she placed among the Top 15 semifinalists and ended up in 6th place after the evening gown competition. To me this girl is a 10 for so many reasons,but I will just give you few. First, she went on Miss Universe with a shaved head. When I first saw her i was like "Omg, thank you finally all natural,no thick weave",. I was so proud of her and how she carried herself through the competition. Another thing that makes me like her even more is the fact of staying true to herself.I am so use of hearing about Miss Tz did this or that,but this girl stayed grounded and kept her head straight and went for what she deserve.
In June 2008, Flaviana left for Johannesburg, South Africa to begin her work under a one year contract with Ice Model Agency. Flaviana arrived in New York to start her modeling life in USA. Russell Simmons, co-founder of the hip-hop label Def Jam and creator of the clothing fashion lines Phat Farm and Baby Farm, secured a modeling contract for Flaviana after meeting her at the Hublot 2010 African Wildlife Foundation Charity dinner on February 3.She is a model for Sherri Hill, which is a big name for evening dresses and other things too.
Flaviana has been involved in many charity activities and has also travelled to various countries on invitations.Essence magazine named her 2010 breakout model of the year. She is smart,humble and beautiful.I wish you more success in 2011.
