Although the weather is actually starting to warm up in New York, I still can't stop thinking about my upcoming trip to LA! I'm very excited to get away and relax! But right now, I'm getting ready for a meeting so I'm leaving you with some pics of the California home of interior designer David Netto and his family. It was featured in Vogue many years back but I found a few more shots. Just as people wear less clothing when it's warm, it seems like some designers lessen up on the furniture and accessories in homes in warmer climates. I also love that the sliding doors blur the line between indoors and out. Enjoy!Photos by Francois Halard

This room is one of the most simple but it's definitely my favorite. But then again, how can you go wrong with a room that contains a Twombly, a Vuillard, an antique daybed and a vellum table. I also love how the soft silk rug looks layered over the sisal carpet. It probably also feels great under your feet when you get up from a nap on the daybed!
