10,000 Omani Riyals Raised by the Autism Awareness Campaign!

Hey dolls,

So today we announced the amount of money raised by the campaigne that I have been organizing along with my friends Najla Al Futaisi, Thuraya Al Riyami, Fatin Al Kalbani and Sara Al-Hashar. I was so proud to find out that the amount of money raised by this campaigne which consisted of a walk and an art exhibition, in which we had a variety of activities such as T-shirt selling, food, muscial concert ect. and today I found out that the total of the money we gathered in the campaigne for Autism is ten thousand Omani Riyals, which is something great :)

I am happy that this money that we have gathered is going to go for an extremely good cause, additionally, alot of Omani people are now aware of what Autism is, and are willing to support it.

So a few of you may know that i have been organzing, along with four other friends of mine, an Autism Awareness Campaigne, in which we have organized a walk and an art exhibition.

yesterday, the day of the walk, went perfctly amazing <3 .. and yu have no idea how much press and people there were! we invoted alot of people and more than 500 people showed up! which was amazing ..

Today morning, I simply googled "Autism awareness walk Muscat" and recieved a few articles that simply made me smile :)

I am extremely happy that this simple event that we started as a school project, became a nationa event in Oman, which grabbed many people's attentin. the most important thing that makes me so proud is the fact that 500 more people are now aware of what Autism is, and are willing to help all families that have a child with autism.



REMINDER: Autism Awareness Walk Tomorrow!

So just to remind you all about the Autism Awareness Campaigne Walk that me and a vouple of my friends are organizing. If you live in Oman, please come and walk for Autism at 4pm from Bareeq Al Shatti to Al Qurum park, in which we will provide food, music, concert, and face painting, along with much other
 surprised for all family members :)

الشارقة (الاتحاد)- لفتت جائزة الشارقة للعمل التطوعي إلى أن الأميرة سميرة بنت عبدالله الفيصل الفرحان آل سعود، رئيسة جمعية أسر التوحد الخيرية في المملكة العربية السعودية، هي أم لشابين أحدهما من ذوي الفصام والآخر من ذوي التوحد، رئيسة مجلس إدارة جمعية أسر التوحد الخيرية ورئيسة مجلس إدارة الجمعية السعودية الخيرية لمرضى الفصام (أول جمعية لهذه الفئة في العالم العربي)، أسست مركز والدة الأمير فيصل بن فهد للتوحد، عضو جمعية الأطفال المعاقين بالمملكة، عضو الرابطة الخليجية للتوحد، عضو ورئيسة لجنة الدعم الأسري في الشبكة العربية للتوحد، عضو الجمعية البريطانية للتوحد.

كما أنها رعت كثيراً من الفعاليات الوطنية المتخصصة في مجالات التربية الخاصة، ونظمت عدداً من المؤتمرات والندوات وورش العمل لذوي الفصام ولذوي التوحد.

 

 

yesterday, i met this amazing princess and i have to say that I am so inceridibly honoured, because she such an inspiration to all of us out there, that are willing to make a difference and make a child with disabilities (in any shape of form) life much better. She is associated with raising awareness for Autism, which is a disorder that triggers the neural develpment and causes some damage to the brain, effecting the child's social abilities and communication skills. Autistic people are seriously missunderstood, and I believe that by creating a small project about Raising awareness for Autism, it would mean alot to all those parents with Autistic kids, and the children themselves.

 

I now can announce that i am working on an Autism Awareness Campaigne, which i am so excited about, and now after meeting the princess, i am even more inspired and ready to make a different.

I cannot be more proud about the work that we did so far, I am so happy and wish to recieve a good feedback after everything happens and becomes successful :)
