When I was researching my posts for the week, I came across some tchotchkes (Yiddish for trinkets or knick-knacks) that are not vintage, but I still think they are really fun and interesting. I guess you could say it is the 'modern' part of Tales Of A Retro-Modern Housewife. I took a chance that you ladies might be interested in my little finds, so here they are:


I thought this vintage charm bracelet was adorable. I am not a huge fan of the charm bracelet, but if I was, I would totally buy this.
In my new house we have a fake fireplace and I thought these log pillows would be funny in it. I also think these could be fun for a children's playroom to help spark their imagination. (Ha, get it? Spark?)
I just thought this squirrel was funny.
And finally: How cool is this pillow? This would be perfect on a couch or in a rustic boy's room.
So there you have it, my round-up of campy, camp themed items.
