I love it when Dita goes to Coachella because she dresses extra creatively and more casually then she usually does. The above is the ensemble she created for day 3 of the event. Personally, I like her 1st day outfit the best, but I found a hat very similar in style to the one she is wearing above, so I thought I would try to recreate the rest of the outfit.
Isn't that a pretty good likeness to the one Dita is wearing! I especially love the cherry detail. It even ties in the back, just like Dita's hat!
Ok, I know this dress isn't very similar to Dita's but hear me out: personally, I don't really love Dita's dress. I am guessing it is a modern dress, but to be totally honest, it looks like a 1980's dress. So I thought I would try to find a vintage dress that had a similar feeling to the one Dita wore. This one has a similar sleeve to the dress we are trying to match, but it has a more flattering hourglass shape. If you really wanted to look like Dita you could have the dress shortened.
Don't you just love these shoes! I like them better than the ones Dita is wearing, and I wonder why she didn't wear a pair of Re-Mix shoes. The pair she is wearing seem pretty heavy, so maybe they hold up better. Or maybe she didn't want to ruin a perfectly good pair of shoes while wandering around the fairgrounds. Either way, these are a cute mimic of her shoes.
